David Arquette may be “having fun” with his “adorable” girlfriend Christina McLarty, but estranged wife Courteney Cox hasn’t even considered getting intimate again.

“I’m really not ready,” Cox, 47, said Wednesday on The Howard Stern Show. “I’m just not ready. I’m not saying I’m not ready to have a make-out session, I’m just not ready to – I don’t know. I’m not lying. … I’ve not had a man since David.”

The Cougar Town actress – who says she’s only “made out with one guy” since splitting from Arquette, 40 – admits she has “sexual feelings,” but doesn’t want to act on them with another guy.

“There [are] ways to deal with that,” she says.

As for the seemingly amicable relationship she still has with her ex, Cox tells Stern it is no act. Arquette’s run on Dancing with the Stars, Cox says, “was such great family time for me and Coco to be watching her dad.”

She and Josh ‘Just Close Friends’

One man Cox has been linked with in the past year is her Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins, 41. But she repeated at a Wednesday screening and panel for the sitcom in Beverly Hills that they’re just very close friends.

“Well, I’m in love with him is this is real life or on the show?” she joked. “I’m in love with him, and on the show I’m in love with him ha ha, no. In real life we’ve traveled together. We travel really well together.”

She added: “We decided, if we ever were going to date, which we are not going to ” but then paused. “I get too personal,” she said, “so I’m just going to stop there.”

When she does start dating again, there’s a good chance it will be with a younger man – and she’ll live up to her sitcom’s title.

“I was married to someone for many, many years, someone who was seven years younger than me,” she said. “I always considered myself lucky to be able to pull in a younger guy. I still like younger guys.”
