That’s some fairy tale wedding.

When friends told Welsh couple Tracey and Vivian Williams they resembled characters from the popular animated Shrek movies – you know, those green ogres – the two weren’t insulted. They embraced it.

Even though Shrek and Fiona are both green ogres, we didn t take it offensively because we like them so much,” Tracey told Britain’s Daily Mail. In fact, the couple saw a Shrek movie on their first date – and became super-fans after that. (Wonder if they’ll go see the latest addition, Shrek Forever After, in theaters May 21, on their honeymoon?)

When it came time for their wedding day, the two painted themselves green, donned fake, green ears and slipped into costume.

They also recruited friends in the wedding party to play along with the fantasy. The best man dressed up as Monsieur Hood, while the bride’s father portrayed evil Lord Farquaad and her mother dressed as the Fairy Godmother.

“We watched the films, became addicted and when we decided to get married we both knew how we wanted the wedding to be, the groom, Vivian, told the Daily Mail. “The whole family absolutely loved it. It looked amazing.”
