The police vehicle hit the front window of the store in Berlin, New Jersey, after colliding with another car on a nearby road. The cause of the initial crash is still under investigation, but a rush for crullers was not likely the culprit.

Both drivers sustained only minor injuries from the collision. None of the customers and employees inside the Dunkin’ Donuts at the time of the accident were harmed. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the store itself. Police said the Dunkin’ Donuts did sustain structural damage from the impact of the SUV.
