CMAs Photo Diary: The Band Perry
HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU
Back in their home state of Tennessee, CMA-nominated siblings Neil, Reid and Kimberly Perry snap a cheeky selfie while zipping through Nashville together on Tuesday, the morning of the 2013 BMI Awards.
The trio gets down to business before Tuesday night’s ceremony, filling fans in on their upcoming world tour during a series of quick-fire radio interviews.
HAIR WE GO
Counting down to the BMI Awards red carpet, Kimberly gets a little help perfecting her signature tousled tresses.
No pre-show nerves here! Neil shows off his black-tie BMI Awards look with a selfie before hitting Tuesday's red carpet.
Reid transforms from country star to city slicker, swapping his casual denims for a sharp pinstripe suit before hitting the BMI Awards red carpet – and his new look pays off when the band’s single, "Postcards from Paris," is named one of the Top 50 Songs winners.
BACK ON THE ROAD
The band gives us a glimpse of Nashville’s blue sky on Wednesday, the morning of the 2013 CMAs, where they’re nominated for Vocal Group of the Year. The CMA Awards Red Carpet Live will air Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. ET on GAC, followed by The 47th Annual CMA Awards, which will air live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Putting the finishing touches on her CMAs ensemble, Kimberly pairs her ivory embellished Johanna Johnson gown with a chic updo and elegant teardrop earrings.
WALK OF FAME
Tailored to perfection in his second suit of the week, Reid pauses on the CMAs red carpet as the band prepares to meet press and fans on their way into the Bridgestone arena.
IN THE SPOTLIGHT
After a quick-change backstage, the Vocal Group of the Year nominees soak up their big moment on stage at the CMAs with a spirited rendition of "Don't Let Me Be Lonely," from their hit second album Pioneer.
After pulling off one of the night's top performances, watched by millions – including some of country music's biggest stars – it's no wonder Reid, Kimberly, and Neil take time to relax backstage.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Watching CMAs cohost Brad Paisley perform "The Mona Lisa," the lucky nominees show off their superb seats in Nashville's 20,000-seat Bridgestone Arena.
