The CMA Awards’ sexy host – and female vocalist nominee – starts off the night in style, in a platinum jeweled Theia gown. But she promises that there’ll be more to come! “I’m not going to keep this one on all night,” she says on the red carpet. “I’m supposed to have nine [costume changes] during the show.”
With four nominations stacked up, the night’s most lauded female star was a style winner, embodying old-Hollywood elegance in a flowing, gold hand-embroidered sequined gown with tulle skirt by Reem Acra accented with Lorraine Schwartz bronze-gold, diamond and sea pearl earrings and a 20-carat blackened-gold diamond bangle.
Talk about hot pink! Nicole is totally sexy in a plunging fuchsia L’Wren Scott gown embellished with subtle shimmer. And while the actress kept the accessories simple, with ruby earrings by Edith Weber Antiques, a metal Bottega Veneta clutch and just a peek of her nude peep-toes, her husband Keith Urban wasn’t shy about his newest accessory. “I have a little addition,” he revealed of a new tattoo, adding, “It’s a birthday gift.”
With black diamond chandelier earrings, a diamond cocktail ring and long strands of diamond chains by Neil Lane draping her soft lavender gown and bold box Judith Leiber clutch, the singer made a stunning statement as she strolled down the carpet with her suited-up husband Tim McGraw (not pictured).
The hair doesn’t make the person but it has been a shocker,” the presenter told PEOPLE of her new red hair. It even affected her choice of a metallic David Meister gown: “It’s been interesting with red hair cause you can’t wear the same things,” she said. “It’s an excuse to go shopping!”
That figure-skimming navy strapless dress? “It’s Italian!” the Sugarland singer exclaimed of her Luisa Beccaria gown. “I love it. I love the ruching, it’s very forgiving – but I’m sporting the Spanx like the rest of us!” She kept the accessories bold with a statement cuff, Kimberly McDonald earrings and Sergio Rossi clutch.
It might be the Country Music Awards, but LeAnn was all Hollywood glam in her elegant white ruched gown and deep smoky eyes with black diamond bombay ring and stud earrings by Neil Lane.
The Lady Antebellum singer gets poised to accept the award for best vocal group in her dazzling draped platinum frock with diamond detailing at the shoulders and a Swarovski clutch.
The red carpet might have been a sea of sequins, but Michelle eschewed sparkle and brought a little color to the CMAs in a teal Matthew Williamson cocktail dress accented with a statement necklace by the designer, Ippolita bangles and peep-toe platforms. “This dress was love at first sight,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s the first time I’m wearing it and I’ve been gazing at it in my closet. I love the color – I don’t wear color that often, it’s black, black, black and then this dress shining there!”
The female vocalist nominee and performer didn’t look far for her gorgeous black sequined gown. The designer? “Reba and Terry Gordon – we designed this dress,” she revealed of the look she co-created with her Reba clothing line stylist.
“It’s Georges Hobeika,” the performer said of her empire-waist stunner with lamé draping below the bust. The singer added a superhero-worthy cuff by DANNIJO and sexy bouffant waves to complete the look.
“Needed a little hair flair,” the female vocalist nominee said of the newly streaked do she debuted on the red carpet. Her red-carpet-skimming, black metallic Nicole Miller gown and Tiffany amp Co. jewelry hit another high note for the singer, who celebrated her birthday just a day earlier!
