Ciara and Russell Wilson Visit Seattle Children's Hospital: See the Pictures
The couple who gives back together, stays together.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson brought rumored love interest Ciara to visit with kids at Seattle Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.
Wilson has been visiting the hospital regularly for several years because, as he said in a 2014 statement, “there’s more to life than football and winning games.”
“Sunday is game day for me, but my best day is Tuesday when I visit Seattle Children’s. All the amazing opportunities I’ve had on the field can’t compare to helping kids whose lives are on the line,” Wilson, 26, said. “I’m humbled by the courage of the patients and families I meet and proud to witness the amazing work of the nurses and doctors who care for them.”
He and Ciara, 29, documented their trip on Instagram, posting several pictures with Seattle Children’s patients and adding “#StrongAgainstCancer” to the captions in reference to the cure-seeking childhood cancer initiative for which Russell campaigns.
Rumors began swirling about the duo earlier this year, and they’ve since stepped out together at a Seattle Mariners baseball game and a White House state dinner. Wilson finalized his divorce from Ashton Meem early last year and Ciara split from rapper Future, father of her 13-month-old son, in the fall.
