Former wrestler Chyna sported a black eye, but told fans she was “doing good” in a video she uploaded to YouTube just three days before she was discovered dead at age 45.

The WWE star, real name Joan Marie Laurer, was found by a friend in her California apartment on Wednesday, according to a statement from Redondo Beach police. She had not answered her phone for several days and the friend went to the star’s apartment to check on her, authorities said.

Officers found no signs of foul play, and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Department is still investigating the cause and exact time of her death.

In the video Chyna posted on Sunday morning, she appeared groggy and had a noticeable black eye while she took viewers through her morning routine.

First chugging an orange liquid – which she later identified as Emergen-C – from a water bottle, she then sipped from a plastic cup while extolling the benefits of water. “I drink as much as I can of it,” she explained, before showing the beach view from her apartment porch.

Chyna then recorded herself making a fruit and vegetable smoothie, calling it the “breakfast of champions,” and explaining that her plans to create a health food delivery meal service had gone awry.

“We were gonna do a healthy food meal idea, where we can deliver the food to you and bring it to you and everything,” she detailed. “Unfortunately, due to legal issues – like if somebody chokes on a whatever, or they’re allergic to a pine nut or something – then we need permits and all these things that we didn’t think of, instead of this amazing idea, so unfortunately I don’t think that’s gonna happen.”

While preparing the drink, Chyna noted that she’s been “rude lately, but doing good.”

“I’ve been having fun because I feel like I can express myself and talk to my friends. It’s really been helping me a lot,” she explained, before noting that she had family, including her cousins, coming over to visit later.

Standing on her balcony, she stated, “How lucky am I?” before telling her fans she loved them. “Hope you have a beautiful day. Wake up, wake up, wake up! Or sleep in. Or stay in bed all d— day today,” she concluded. “It’s Sunday, right? Love ya’ll, peace.”

Later in the day Chyna, who was an original member of D-Generation X, shared an Instagram photo of herself, writing, “Happy Sunday my lovelies I hope you all enjoy your day with your family. Be Happy, Love each other, and Live in Peace!”

Chyna’s black eye first appeared a week ago, per her social media, during another get-together with family. She didn’t address how she received it.

The WWE was always open about her personal struggles, and even appeared on Celebrity Rehab in 2008, for alcohol abuse. After the show, Chyna told PEOPLE, “I’m leading the life that I should have led years ago.”
