Chuck Wicks is giving back, and his charitable efforts are worth more than $25,000!

The country star returned to his small hometown in Delaware this weekend to perform a sold-out benefit concert to raise money for the Smyrna-Clayton Boys & Girls Club.

“I’m going back to the community that raised me,” Wicks, who is dating Julianne Hough and promises to make the trip an annual affair, tells the Smyrna-Clayton Sun Times. “As long as people want to come out I’ll keep coming back.”

Wicks’s aunt, Debbie Wicks, happens to be the Smyrna School District’s superintendent and was thrilled with the turn out. “We made over $25,000,” she says, which will go toward much needed repairs for the club’s building.

“It’s cool to be a part of that,” the 29-year-old singer says. Wicks continues touring with a stop at the Grand Ole Opry Friday night.
