Charlie Hunnam’s shocking exit from Fifty Shades of Grey left Hollywood scrambling to find a quick replacement to fill the role of Christian Grey in the upcoming movie adaptation of the erotic literary sensation.

Here’s what you need to know about some of the rumored front-runners for the part.

Scott Eastwood: Aside from his iconic last name, the 27-year-old son of Clint Eastwood seemingly rose to fame overnight after posing for a sexy Town & Country shoot and posting a shirtless shot from the set of the World War II drama Fury, which also stars Brad Pitt. Even Vanity Fair endorsed this hottie. And Scott responded directly to the hype on Twitter:

Matt Bomer: If it were up to the public, he’d already have the part. The gorgeous White Collar star, 36, who originally said he was “looking forward to seeing” Hunnam play Christian, was part of a petition launched by fans to put him in the kinky role, with Alexis Bledel playing Anastasia Steele instead of Dakota Johnson. “I’m grateful for the fans and touched,” he said.

Christian Cooke: Although not yet a household name in the U.S., the handsome 26-year-old brunette – who began acting at the age of 10 – is well-known in England for his television work, which includes memorable roles in series like Where the Heart Is and Demons. The Hollywood Reporter reports Universal Pictures and Focus Features heads are scrambling to fill the role so the project can meet a “looming Nov. 1 start date” by revisiting their initial list of possible contenders including Cooke.

Jamie Dornan: The most buzzed-about front-runner, Dornan, a former Calvin Klein model, reportedly had “a really good read” on Friday for the role, and the studio is apparently not concerned at all about how the 31-year-old will mesh with potential costar Johnson.
