Kennedy Jr. are taking their newlywed bliss to the Ivy Leagues. “My stepson moves into Harvard on Monday, so I’m going to help him set up his dorm room,” the Suburgatory star told PEOPLE Friday night at a Vanity Fair party toasting Veep, where the couple walked in hand-in-hand. “I’m going to feel smarter just doing stuff there, to be honest feeling like I belong there.” Kennedy, 60, and Hines, 48, tied the knot in a casual ceremony earlier this month. “Your second time around, you don’t need to make it too crazy,” said the actress of the tea-length Romona Keveza gown she wore for the ceremony at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, Massachusetts. “It was actually good timing because we’re trying to get all the kids settled, and they all go to school at different times, so in October I’ll probably look around and go, ‘What am I doing?’ ” she said at the Maybelline New York-sponsored bash on Friday night. “We have seven kids between us, [so] it’s like the Brady Bunch. And with the focus on getting their new family settled (“They’re all great kids,” Hines said), the newlyweds haven’t put much pressure on any next steps. “It’s called the romance of the unknown,” she said. “I’m embracing it.” Want more stories like this?
