Cher Seeks Share

Cher and a struggling actor who says he is a son of the late Sonny Bono are both seeking a share of the singer-turned-congressman’s estate. A judge in Indio, Calif., ruled that a coroner must turn over a blood sample containing Bono’s DNA so that Sean Machu, 35, can prove whether or not he is Sonny’s son. Court papers show that Cher has filed a claim against Bono’s $1.66 million estate, alleging that her ex-husband — who left no last will and testament — owed her back alimony payments.
