If Cher could turn forward time, we could all live in a world where the Cher musical already exists.

“Spent last 3 Days with Rick He is Writer of Cher Musical. We had so much fun,” the diva wrote on Twitter Sunday.

The Rick that Cher is referring to is Rick Elice, the Tony-winning playwright behind the smash-hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys.

Elice is also known for writing Peter and the Starcatcher, which earned his late husband Roger Rees a Tony nomination for best direction of a play in 2012.

Cher – who celebrated her 69th birthday in May – first announced plans for a musical about her life in June 2012 but no definitive timeline for the project has been announced.
