Voice of An Angel singer Charlotte Church has a little angel of her own.

The 21-year-old has given birth to a baby girl. A spokeswoman for Church said: “A baby girl was born sometime on Thursday evening or possibly Friday morning. Midwives were present at the home birth.”

Church shares a home in Wales with rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson. Henson, 25, was present at the birth of their 6-pound bundle of joy, and the couple announced Monday they named her Ruby Megan Henson.

“Charlotte said that they have spent the weekend receiving family and friends and everything is fine with both her and Ruby,” was the message to fans on Church’s Web site, which revealed new details about the baby.

Church announced her pregnancy in March, when she said she was “delighted” with the news.

The Wales-born singer was first discovered on a British talent show. In 1999, she had a worldwide hit debut album with Voice Of An Angel.

From that early start as a sweet-singing schoolgirl, she has reinvented herself as a British TV talk show host.
