Theron, 38, showed off a ring as she walked through LAX airport on TKDATE. The Oscar winners went public with their relationship in January at Penn’s third annual Help Haiti Home gala, and their romance quickly grew serious. “He is really happy, a little more mature [than in years past] and very interested in everything about Charlize,” a source who knows Penn says. They have taken vacations together and Penn, 53, has been spending time with her son, Jackson, 2, whom she adopted in 2012. This will be the first marriage for Theron and third for Penn, who divorced wife Robin Wright in 2009. Though their romance may seem like a whirlwind to fans, the Oscar winners have known each other for 18 years, and Theron has said their friendship turned to love when she least expected it. “We had to think about it. But at the end of the day, it was somewhat effortless. It just kind of naturally happened, and before I know it, I was in something that was making my life better – the people who really love me can see the effect it has had on me,” she told Vogue.
