The Cindy Crawford Fan Club: 8 Stars Who Love the Supermodel
You know you're legendary when a late-night talk show host recreates your famous Pepsi commercial years after its debut. That was the case at this year's Super Bowl, when Corden squeezed into cut-offs and a tank top alongside Cindy Crawford to recreate the supermodel's 1992 ad.
The Grammy winner invited Crawford to play the role of Headmistress in her star-studded music video for "Bad Blood," which went on to win a Grammy and MTV Video Music Award – which Swift hand delivered to the supermodel. "Think this guy is going to love his new home in Malibu," Crawford captioned a photo of the Moon Man on Insta.
Like mother, like daughter – literally. The budding model bears a striking resemblance to her mom, and says she's received a healthy dose of confidence from her, too. "It's reassuring to know even Cindy Crawford doesn't wake up looking like 'Cindy Crawford.' That's helped me learn to be happy with myself as I am," Gerber revealed in an interview with The Thick.
When it comes to beauty, the Estée Lauder spokesmodel is quick to name Crawford as one of her biggest inspirations. "I think Cindy Crawford is awesome," she told Yahoo Beauty. "I love her style."
Crawford's mark on the young supermodel is two-fold: she inspired her as a fashion role model, and kept her looking cool during her days at NYU.
Now there's an easier way to fly in style, as displayed by the Girls star, who slipped on a cozy sweatshirt bearing the House of Style host's name.
When it came time to cast for his music video "Freedom! '90," Michael enlisted five supermodels: Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Tatjana Patitz. "I think it stands the test of time and still looks amazing today," said Crawford of her involvement in the video. "I like how [director] David Fincher saw something different in each of us and tried to bring that out in the video."
Leave it to Crawford's son to pay homage to his supermodel-mom during a beach photoshoot.
