All the Celebrity Couples Who've Called It Quits in 2020

The Big Little Lies star filed for divorce from Glusman on Dec. 23, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE.

A rep for Kravitz confirmed the split exclusively to PEOPLE.

The pair, both 32, were first linked in October 2016 and went on to wed in June 2019 at the Paris home of the actress’ father, Lenny Kravitz.

On Dec. 29, the musician and actor released a joint statement with his wife, detailing that the two have decided to split after nearly four years of marriage, alongside a red carpet shot of the Fast & Furious star planting a kiss on his wife's cheek.

"We have decided to make a statement of a painful and significant development in our lives," the statement, shared to Tyrese's Instagram account, began. "After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We unfortunately have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce."

The couple, who tied the knot in February 2017, share one child together: 2-year-old daughter Soraya. Gibson is also the father of his 13-year-old daughter Shayla from a previous relationship.

The former Olympian announced the split on Instagram on Dec. 29.

"Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal," Vonn wrote, sharing a photo of the former couple.

"However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately," she continued. "We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time."

The Olympic gold medalist, who retired from professional skiing in 2019 after a storied career that saw a record number of World Cup wins, began dating Subban, a defenseman on the New Jersey Devils, in early 2018. PEOPLE confirmed their engagement in August 2019.

After 22 years of marriage, the Punky Brewster star, 44, and her producer husband, 48, have separated, PEOPLE exclusively revealed on Dec. 28.

"Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg quietly separated this year," her rep told PEOPLE. "Their priority will continue to be their four beautiful children as they move forward with love and compassion."

The pair tied the knot in 1998 and share four children together: daughters Poet Sienna Rose, 15, and Jagger Joseph Blue, 12, and sons Lyric Sonny Roads, 6, and Story, 4.

After three years of marriage, the couple — who first met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016 — announced their split on Dec. 23.

"We have made the difficult decision to separate," the former couple said in a joint statement. "We will always cherish our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for one another as we focus on what's best for the future of our family. We greatly appreciate everyone's love and support and kindly ask that you please respect our family’s privacy as we navigate through this."

Waddell, 35, and Bass, 38, share son Charles “Charlie” Wolf, 1, and daughter Isabella “Bella” Evelyn, 2. Bass is also dad to three older sons from his previous marriage.

The Emmy-winning actress and the creator of The Crown have amicably split, according to a report from U.K. columnist Baz Bamigboye of the Daily Mail. According to Bamigboye, Anderson and Morgan began dating back in 2016, though the former couple never moved in together.

A source tells PEOPLE that the pair — who worked together on the recent season of the Netflix royals series, as Anderson portrayed British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher — have "highly-demanding schedules."

A rep for Anderson declined to comment on the actress’ personal life. Morgan's rep also declined to comment.

The entertainment mogul — who started dating model and activist Gelila Bekele after her meeting at a Prince concert in 2007 — shared on Instagram Dec. 16, "I’m 51, single and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like."

A source told PEOPLE Perry and Bekele "amicably split some time ago and remain close friends."

"Their focus is on being the best parents they can for their son," the insider added.

In statements posted to both Twitter and Instagram, the actress shared that the pair split in October after nearly four years of dating.

“Hi all,” she began on her Instagram Story. “We know there have been some rumors and confusion lately about the status of our relationship and we wanted to set the record straight.”

Cameron continued, “In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends. Thank you for allowing us our privacy in this time.”

Cameron previously confirmed to PEOPLE that she was dating Doherty in February 2017, after they met on the set of Descendants 2 in late 2016.

The Big Bang Theory alum and Meyer have split.

A source told PEOPLE on Nov. 30 that the two have gone their separate ways and are co-parenting their son Avery, who will turn 1 next month.

Galecki, 45, and Meyer, 23, started dating in 2018. They announced Avery's arrival in December 2019.

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star, 36, announced the breakup on Instagram and her blog on Nov. 30.

"As I close the door on my relationship with Christian I am quite literally opening the door to our new family home," wrote the mother of three on Instagram. "(God/Spirit/The Universe has a way of doing funny things like that.) Our relationship deserves to be honored even as it ends."

In her blog, King wrote that she "learned how to heal" after her split from estranged husband Jim Edmonds, whom she is in the process of divorcing, and that her relationship with Schauf that followed "reawakened" her "dormant adventurous spirit and I remembered what it felt like to love myself and be loved."

"I wish things could’ve been different in many ways but alas, things are the way they are…  just as we stood together just a short time ago, we now stand apart," she wrote of her time with Schauf, whom she met in March through a mutual friend.

King said that the breakup was completely amicable and that she and Schauf "wish nothing but an abundance of love and happiness" for each other.

The Booksmart director, 36, and the Ted Lasso star, 45, have split, ending their engagement of more than seven years, PEOPLE exclusively reported on Nov. 13. 

"The split happened at the beginning of the year," a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. "It's been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship."

Wilde and Sudeikis share son Otis Alexander, 6, and daughter Daisy Josephine, 4.

The pair got engaged shortly after the holidays in 2012, just over a year after they first started dating.

After 14 years of marriage, the Dancing with the Stars pro and his wife Elena are going their separate ways. 

News of the split came just days after Savchenko was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars with his dance partner, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.

The couple announced their decision to separate on their respective social media accounts on Nov. 6 — with Samodanova first sharing a statement on her Instagram Story.

"After 14 years of marriage with my deepest sadness our road is coming to an end," she wrote alongside a photo of herself with the ballroom dancer.

Samodanova, a Russian dancer, then posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram, reading, "i don't hate you, i'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you'd never be."

Savchenko, 37, later confirmed the split on his Instagram account, writing, "It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage. We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them."

"We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time," he added.

The pair share two daughters: Olivia, 9, and Zlata, 3.

The This Is Us star announced on Instagram that she is no longer engaged to actor Jaime Lincoln Smith. 

In September 2019, Watson announced her engagement on Instagram, sharing a photo of her sapphire engagement ring.

The post is now deleted from her account.

On Nov. 7, while celebrating Joe Biden's election victory over President Donald Trump, Kelechi revealed her relationship status on her Instagram Stories. "And I thought becoming Single was gonna be the only eventful thing to happen to me this year #TwentyTwenty," Watson wrote.

One year after announcing their engagement, Lamar Odom and fiancé Sabrina Parr have decided to call it quits, Parr revealed on Instagram on Nov. 4. 

"Y'all know I'm honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar," Parr wrote on her Instagram Story. "This has been a difficult decision for me to make but it is the best for myself and my children."

"Lamar has some things that he alone has to work through," she continued, adding that she loves him "dearly" but is "no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs."

Odom has struggled with drug addiction in the past, but it was not clear what "things" he is dealing with now.

"I wish him all the best," the personal trainer added, asking her followers for prayers for "everyone involved."

A rep for Odom did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed for divorce from her husband of 21 years on Nov. 3, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

"After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi," Erika, 49, said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. "This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together."

"It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserved," she added. "I request others give us that privacy as well."

E! News was first to report the news of the split.

The actor and art director seem to have split as Evans, 41, recently unfollowed Olarra on Instagram and scrubbed his account of their photos together. Olarra, however, still has a photo of Evans on his Instagram account from September.

A rep for Evans did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The pair made their romance Instagram official in February when Evans posted a video of the two together on vacation in Hawaii.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress, 47, and the Canadian rapper, 23, split earlier this October. "It's not a big deal for Kate," the source added. "It was great for Kate to have him around during the lockdown."

The source continued that Grace "is young and has other priorities than her," and that Beckinsale "totally gets it."

Rumors that the couple had gone their separate ways recently began after The Daily Mail first spotted that Beckinsale unfollowed Grace on Instagram. The Underworld star also deleted her comment saying, "I love you," underneath Grace's post for his birthday in June.

The pair, who were seen holding hands in public multiple times throughout the pandemic lockdown, were first linked in April before PEOPLE confirmed they had been dating since early this year. 

Over the weekend, the “Fancy” rapper announced that she had split from fellow rapper Playboi Carti after two years of dating.

Azalea hinted at the breakup in a pair of cryptic messages shared on her Instagram Story on Oct. 23. “You lost a real 1,” she wrote in one slide, according to The Shade Room, adding in another, “People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.”

“What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship,” she later clarified.

Azalea revealed in July that she had welcomed her first child, a bay boy named Onyx.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her investor partner Shelby Bryan quietly parted ways years ago, PEOPLE confirms.

Page Six was first to report the news of their split. A representative for Wintour declined to comment.

Wintour and Bryan met at the Benefit Ball for the New York Ballet in 1997 when they were each married to different people — the Vogue editor to psychiatrist David Shaffer and the telecommunications businessman to second wife Katherine Bryan.

News of a relationship between the two began in February 1998, according to New York Magazine, and was covered closely by tabloids at the time.

After seven years of marriage, actress Lake Bell and husband Scott Campbell are calling it quits. 

Bell and Campbell tied the knot in New Orleans in 2013 and share daughter Nova, 6, and son Ozgood, 3.

The two announced the news on their respective Instagram accounts on Oct. 22.

"After 9 years together, 7 years married, 2 sparkling children...Scott and I are ending our marriage, but continuing our loving family," Bell wrote in her announcement.

"With respect and thoughtful guidance, we will continue to be parental comrades in arms and best friends for all of our days," she added.

For his part, Campbell, a tattoo artist, shared: "Nine years together, seven years married, two luminary children, countless miles, infinite laughs — I couldn't be more proud of every single of them."

"Now we find ourselves ending our marriage and transitioning the love and friendship we've always had into a new chapter," Campbell added.

The Empire actress and her fiancé Kelvin Hayden have ended their engagement.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club morning radio show, the actress revealed that she and Hayden have split, nearly two years after the former NFL star proposed.

"I haven’t said it yet but it didn’t work out," said Henson, 50, of her romance with Hayden, 37. "I tried, I said, 'let’s do the therapy thing' but if you’re both not on the same page with that, then you feel like you’re taking it on yourself and that’s not a fair position for anybody to play in a relationship."

The actress revealed her engagement to Hayden, a former Super Bowl champ, in May 2018 on Instagram, sharing a photo of her new diamond with the caption: “I said yes y’all!!!”

The two were originally set to wed in April but chose to delay the wedding until June because of family plans and her crazy work schedule.

The couple are getting a divorce after 21 years of marriage.

Tiffany filed for divorce on Oct. 5, online Ventura County court records show. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed their date of separation as May 2, according to TMZ, which first reported on the news.

Tiffany has also requested joint custody of their children, daughter Abigail, 16, and son George, 12.

A rep for the star did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The former Real Housewives of New York City star and her boyfriend of two years have split, according to multiple reports.

Frankel started dating Bernon, a real estate developer and film producer, in the fall of 2018 after the death of her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields.

Us Weekly and the New York Post's Page Six reported that the couple quietly split in the fall. A rep for Frankel had no comment when reached by PEOPLE. 

The former Bachelorette and Rosenbaum have decided to end their marriage after nearly eight years. They both simultaneously announced the news on Oct. 14.

Hebert revealed on Instagram that she and Rosenbaum have already been separated for "months."

"It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that, after months of separation, Jp and I have amicably decided to go our separate ways," the pediatric dentist wrote alongside a photo of the couple dancing together.

"We created the most beautiful children and shared memories that will never be forgotten. Our differences have taken a toll on our relationship and after years of attempting to repair the damage, we’ve decided that it is in our family’s best interest to create new and separate lives for our children."

"Please respect our privacy as we move forward with the newness of our lives. Our ultimate focus is to create stable and healthy lives for our children," she concluded. "Thank you for your love and support throughout the years. Wishing you all love, happiness, and good health. ❤️"

Rosenbaum shared the same photo and a statement of his own, recognizing that the split may be a "shock" to fans. He also added that he and Hebert's focus will be co-parenting their kids "to the best of our ability and to maintain stable and healthy lives for Fordy & Essie."

Hebert and Rosenbaum, who met on the seventh season of The Bachelorette, tied the knot in 2012 in Pasadena, California. Their wedding later aired in a special on ABC. The couple has since welcomed son Fordham Rhys, 6, and daughter Essex Reese, 3.

The duo renewed their vows in the Caribbean in 2018.

The actor and his fiancée have called it quits a little over a year after getting engaged, PEOPLE confirmed on Oct. 12.

The split was amicable between the notoriously private pair, a source told PEOPLE. 

The Oscar-nominated actor, 36, and Santos, a 31-year-old content manager at L.A.-based beauty company Violet Gray, became engaged last October. The now-exes were first spotted together in August 2018 while out on a walk in New York City.

The Flipping Out star revealed on his SiriusXM radio show Jeff Lewis Live on Sept. 28 that he and on-and-off boyfriend Scott Anderson have split yet again, just a few months after he announced their previous parting in May.  

“I was devastated, I was so upset,” Lewis said of their most recent split, sharing that the pair hadn’t talked for two weeks until Anderson agreed to come over to see him the week before. 

“He was very distant, kind of emotionally removed,” Lewis said of their meeting, sharing that they had dinner, talked and “hooked up a little bit” before Anderson decided to leave early. 

The father of one said that his intuition was telling him that something was off, and when he walked Anderson to his car that night he thought to himself, “I don’t think I’m going to see him again,” despite Anderson telling him he’d meet up with him again the next day. Sure enough, Lewis said, “the next morning I get a text from him: ‘I had a really nice time, but this is too much for me," and the two haven't seen each other since, according to Lewis.

The Queer Eye star revealed the news on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show during a conversation with guest host Stephen 'tWitch' Boss. According to Brown, the couple made the amicable decision to part ways while at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brown and the director, who got engaged in May 2018, were originally set to tie the knot this summer. They had to postpone the wedding due to the outbreak of the virus, then came to the decision to call it off completely.

"It was postponed because of the pandemic, but now it's actually postponed officially, because my fiancé and I, we were together for 10 years, and we broke up about three and a half months ago," said Brown. "We were distracted by so much — with the kids, and our careers — that during that time, I had to really say, how is our communication? How are other parts of our lives? Are we growing in the same place?"

"We're not 20 anymore, so it wasn't just, 'Oh, I'm not going to text you anymore' — it was like, we have a family and a home," he continued. "How do we separate this? And it was hard. We went to virtual counseling, we did a lot of things. But eventually I was like, this is a moment where I need to decide, is my happiness important? And once I made that decision, I said, you know, we are going to have to break up."

Brown said there was "luckily no cheating," confirming the two are still "good friends."

After nearly two years of marriage, the Christina on the Coast star, 37, and Wheeler Dealers host, 41, are going their separate ways.

In a statement posted to her Instagram account on Sept. 18, Christina — who welcomed son Hudson London Anstead with Ant in September 2019 — announced the news of their breakup.

"Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority," Christina wrote. "We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future."

The pair began dating in October 2017 and tied the knot more than a year later in a secret “winter wonderland” wedding at their home in Newport Beach, California, in December 2018.

In November, Christina officially filed for divorce from her husband of less than two years, the HGTV star's publicist and best friend Cassie Zebisch confirmed to PEOPLE.

Cardi B and Offset are officially calling it quits after three years of marriage.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper, 27, filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse on Sept. 15. The pair share 2-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari.

Reps for Cardi B and Offset did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Cardi and Offset's divorce follows previous accusations of Offset's infidelity. In January 2018, Cardi (née Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) outwardly confirmed Offset (né Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was at the center of a sex tape cheating scandal after rumors of a video and alleged liaison with another woman surfaced in December 2017, three months after the couple had secretly tied the knot.

In a February 2018 interview with Cosmopolitan, Cardi opened up about the situation and why she decided to stay.

“I know I look good, I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player,” she said. “But I want to work out my s— with my man, and I don’t got to explain why.”

“I’m not your property. This is my life … I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision,” she added. “It’s not right, what he f—ing did — but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”

On Sept. 15, the Chrisley Knows Best star announced on Instagram that she and her fiancé have "decided to call it quits" nearly two years after getting engaged.

"You’ve all been wondering...so here it is: Oh how I wish this smile was on my face and that infectious laugh was spewing out of my body right now...but sadly it’s not. Nic and I have decided to call it quits," she began, alongside a photo from their engagement photo shoot.

"There’s no hatred between the two of us...and in all honesty...that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually," she continued.

Savannah, 23, added that while "these past 3 years have been some of the best years of my life," she is choosing "to trust that God has a far greater purpose for my life."

Just two months after Love made a request to dismiss her filing to legally end her marriage with Ray J, the "One Wish" singer has made his own filing for divorce, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Ray J is also asking for joint custody of the couple's two children: son Epik Ray, and daughter Melody Love, The Blast first reported. Ray J had not responded to Love's original filing.

The singer's lawyer did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sept. 14.

The Bachelor couple have gone their separate ways, Fuller confirmed on Sept. 9.

While sitting down with Nick Viall for his Viall Files podcast, Fuller opened up about her recent split from Soules, who was the star of The Bachelor's season 19 in 2015.

"I am just living my best life," said Fuller.

Asked by Viall what happened between her and Soules, she said, "we went a separate direction."

Despite their split, Fuller has immense respect for Soules.

"But I respect him so much. I think he's an amazing man. I just think that like right now, I'm in such a different place than he is," she said, "And I'm not moving to Iowa anytime soon."

"So I just want to focus on me," she continued. "It's been so much about other people this year that I just really wanna like hone in on what I want to accomplish and like what I want to get out of this year and looking forward to my career in the future."

Admitting that their relationship is "complicated," Fuller said, "I'm just living my life and he is an amazing man and he deserves somebody super awesome who's willing to like go to Iowa and live in Iowa and right now I'm just not there yet. Maybe I will be in a couple years."
