They Put a Ring On It! All of the Celebrity Engagements of 2020 — So Far
These happy couples are headed for a walk down the aisle
Morgan Stewart & Jordan McGraw
The E! News’ Nightly Pop host, who filed for divorce from husband Brendan Fitzpatrick in 2019, broke the happy news on July 4th that she had gotten engaged to boyfriend Jordan McGraw (who is the son of television host Dr. Phil McGraw).
“Fireworks 💥,” Stewart captioned a photograph of herself smiling while wearing a strapless bikini — as well as a diamond sparkler on that finger.
“Plenty to smile about…” McGraw wrote in his own happy announcement, posting a photograph of the pair holding hands.
Dr. Phil and his wife Robin shared their excitement for the two on Instagram as well.
“Robin and I are so thrilled for you and Jordan. So proud to add you to the family! Love you both!!!” the television personality wrote in a sweet comment on Stewart’s photo, while his wife left a string of “X” and “O” emojis in a separate reply.
Billie Lourd & Austen Rydell
The Booksmart actress is engaged! Lourd's longtime love Austen Rydell announced the happy news on Instagram on June 25, sharing that saying yes to his proposal was a no-brainer for Lourd.
"💍💍💍She said YES!! (Actually she said 'Duhhh') But I guess that’s even better than yes?!? 💗🤪🎉🎰💥🍾," he captioned a series of photos of the pair over the years.
The couple rekindled their romance in 2017, after first dating briefly the year before.
Aaron Carter & Melanie Martin
The singer announced that he and his girlfriend of several months are ready to tie the knot.
“Lövē wins ❤️😍💍,” Carter, 32, captioned a June 12 Instagram post, featuring a photo of an engagement ring on Martin’s left hand. He added the hashtags #iloveyou3000 #engaged #fiance and #ourlovestory.
The engagement announcement comes just days after the couple announced in a YouTube livestream that Martin had recently suffered a miscarriage.
"She suffered a miscarriage due to stress conditions," Carter said in the June 8 video. "We’re gonna give it some time, let her heal and then we’re going to try again. We both want that. I gotta take care of her."
The pair first went Instagram official in January, before announcing they were expecting together in April.
Tyler Filmore & Paige Korte
The country artist proposed to his girlfriend of three years over Memorial Day weekend in May, PEOPLE exclusively revealed on June 15.
"I've written so many songs about love and finding 'the one' that when it actually happened, I couldn't believe it," Filmore, 31, told PEOPLE about his engagement to Korte, a 26-year-old cardiac sonographer at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
“I'm excited to share my whole life with her from days at home on the couch to life on the road. I'm beyond thankful to have found my person!" he added.
Adam Chance and Sami Matarante
When the Home Free singer’s initial proposal plans were derailed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), he had to get creative — and he ultimately found an even more romantic plan B.
Chance originally planned to pop the question in Paris, where the group was supposed to play a show on March 15.
"March 17 was our two-year anniversary, so I just decided to go for it," he told PEOPLE of proposing while social distancing at home instead. "We were wearing onesies, and she thought we were about to record something goofy for Instagram — but I got down on one knee instead. I couldn't wait. It was the best decision I've ever made."
"I think I blacked out while it was happening — thankfully he had the sense to film it — but I do remember one of the first things he said, after I said 'yes,' was that he was sorry it wasn’t more grandiose," Matarante said of the special moment. "Sure, Paris would have been a beautiful, magical place to get engaged … But at home, in our comfies, just felt so much more like us to me."
The video footage of their engagement is featured at the end of the group’s new music video for their cover of Jason Isbell's "Cover Me Up."
Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago
The Too Hot to Handle stars are engaged! The pair, who first got together on the reality show last year, took some time apart after filming before getting back together — and now, they’re ready to take the next step.
Jowsey, 22, popped the question to Farago, 26, on the show’s June 12 Zoom reunion, using a Ring Pop as a stand in for the bling to come.
“I just want to say you’ve absolutely changed my life, I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend forever with you,” he said, as he cracked a smile while down on one knee. “Do you want to do this thing? Do you want to get married?”
After a very long pause, the reality star smiled as she said, “Harry knows I want to marry him, so yes.”
Jennifer Snowden & Lee
The Southern Charm alum announced on May 23 that she and her longtime boyfriend, with whom she shares 3-year-old son James Ascher, are engaged.

“Guys.. wtf has just happened... He bloody did it, and I said yes," a stunned Pinnock gleefully shared afterward on Instagram, alongside a series of photos capturing the moment.
"I'm marrying my soul mate, the man of my flipping dreams...." she added. "I am lost for words, so I think I'm just going to go cry some more. "@andregray_ I love you so much. My world is literally complete."
Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman & Francie Frane
The Dog’s Most Wanted star popped the question to his girlfriend in a romantic candlelit proposal at their Colorado home in early May.
"They’re very happy and looking forward to a long life together," a rep for Duane told PEOPLE.
"I wasn't expecting it at all," Frane, a 51-year-old rancher from Colorado, told The Sun U.S. "I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit."
The couple, who went public with their relationship in March of this year, said they will wait until after the coronavirus lockdown to tie the knot so that all of their family members can be in attendance.
The engagement comes 10 months after Chapman's wife Beth died of throat cancer in June 2019.
Abby Anderson Engaged to Boyfriend Tyler Graham
The country singer/songwriter and her boyfriend of two years got engaged on May 2 while social distancing in Georgia together.
The "Good Lord" singer's older sister Ashlin helped with the romantic proposal, decorating a canoe with flowers for the couple to take a romantic boat ride. Once they got to the middle of the lake, Graham, 28, got down on one knee and presented the 23-year-old singer a ring made of wildflowers.
The pair plan to design her ring when jewelers resume business after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
Anderson announced their engagement on social media, sharing photos of the proposal and writing, "TURNS OUT MY MAN CATCHES MORE THAN FISH Ring brought to you by Tyler’s beautiful mind, jewelers being closed, corona and wildflower stems."

Burrell met Claxton, who works in ad sales marketing at Univision, in 2018 through the dating app Bumble. Claxton popped the question in April in her hometown of Cazenovia, New York, where the two are currently isolating with Burrell’s family.
“My mom and Stuart got together and made a plan where he and I were going to have a date night,” Burrell told PEOPLE. “She set up a beautiful table in her apartment and we just planned a dinner for the two of us. We were having a nice time, and Stuart then starts saying, ‘Oh, this is a good song to put on a playlist for our wedding reception.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, sure. But why are we talking about that now?' ”
“We started talking about family and just how nice it was to be here with everyone, so I sort of started getting weepy already,” she added. “Then Stuart pulls a ring out of his pants pocket and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe this is even happening.' ”

A rep for Forte did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment, but Forte’s father confirmed that "he's currently engaged" in passing during their appearance on the April 8 premiere of ABC’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
