MTV's The Challenge stars are engaged, E! News reports. The proposal went down on Dec. 21, at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in N.Y.C.
"We went on one of our first dates there. Jenna actually showed up four hours late and the second she showed up and went to take a photo, the lights went out," Nichols told E! News. "So our picture was next to an unlit tree. We've gone to the tree every year since but we've gotten there much earlier since the first year!"
"I was so surprised!" Compono told the outlet after the proposal. "We went to see the tree every year since we met and a lot of memories have happened in New York City. I was so surprised and it was so sincere and sweet. I couldn't be happier."

The high school sweethearts are about to head down the aisle — again! The Real Housewives of Potomac stars got engaged for a second time during a holiday wrap party for season 5 of the Bravo reality show.
Reps for Bravo did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Robyn and Juan’s relationship has been documented extensively on Real Housewives.
Juan, a former professional NBA player, first proposed to Robyn in Oct. 2005 during a trip to Miami Beach when he wrote out “RB – Will you marry me?” in the sand, according to the Baltimore Sun.
The couple would go on to wed that July and welcome two sons before divorcing in 2012, although they continued to live together for the sake of their family.

The happy couple is engaged after two years of dating!
McCary revealed the news on Instagram on Dec. 4 by posting a photo of the two smiling as Stone showed off her brand new ring.
A source previously confirmed to PEOPLE that Stone and McCary, a segment director and writer for Saturday Night Live, were dating in October 2017, saying that the pair had been together for at least three months.
The soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. met when the Oscar-winning actress hosted SNL at the end of 2016 and starred in the sketch “Wells for Boys,” which McCary directed.
Hoda Kotb & Joel Schiffman
The Today show co-host and her financier beau of six years are officially engaged! Schiffman popped the question while they were having a romantic beachside dinner, telling Kotb, "Be my wife," she announced on the morning show on Nov. 25.
She added, "He said some beautiful things."
Kotb revealed that the couple hadn’t yet told her daughters, Haley Joy, 2, and Hope Catherine, who she adopted in April. "We’re still trying to figure out that part," she admitted.

Odom announced on Nov. 11 that after three months of dating, he had proposed to the health and life coach.

The ex-husband of Christie Brinkley popped the question to his 21-year-old girlfriend on Sept. 15 during their vacation in Santorini, Greece. Cook presented Jancou with a six-carat Glenn Bradford diamond ring in front of a church, Page Six reported. The 60-year-old Hamptons-based architect, who shares daughter Sailor and son Jack with ex-wife Brinkley has reportedly been dating Jancou for about a year.
This will be Cook’s third marriage. He was previously married to Brinkley from 1996 to 2008. The former couple divorced after Brinkley learned of Cook’s affair with his then-19-year-old assistant Diana Bianchi. Cook then got remarried to Suzanne Shaw, shortly after his cheating scandal broke. The pair split in 2014. After Bianchi came forward in 2007, Cook was also accused of having romantic relations with another former employee, Samantha Cole, who was 18 at the time. He allegedly proposed marriage to her in May 1996 — three months before he became engaged to Brinkley — but she declined.

The Pitch Perfect star is set to wed girlfriend Bridges! DeVine revealed the news on Oct. 24 on Instagram with a sweet photo of the two smiling and Bridges showing off her engagement ring.

Farrow laid out his creative plan to pop the question in his book, writing, "Later, when I decided some of that reporting would make its way into a book, I’d send him a draft, and put in a question, right on this page: ‘Marriage?’ On the moon or even here on Earth."
"He read the draft, found the proposal here, and said, ‘Sure,’” he wrote.
The two, who met shortly after Lovett left his job as a presidential speechwriter in 2011, had often joked about getting married on the moon.

Get ready for another royal wedding! The Queen's granddaughter, 31, announced her engagement to the multi-millionaire property tycoon on Sept. 26 in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
Mozzi proposed to Beatrice during their vacation in Italy in early September, according to the palace. The pair, who were first romantically linked last November but have been family friends for years, are set to wed in 2020.
Mozzi, who has a son from a previous relationship with Dara Huang, shared his and his bride-to-be's black and white engagement photos on his Instagram alongside a sweet message for Beatrice.
"You will never be alone my love, my heart is your home. Hand in hand, today, tomorrow and forever. 💍," he wrote.
Amy Roloff & Chris Marek
The Little People, Big World star is engaged to her boyfriend Marek, PEOPLE exclusively confirmed on Sept. 20.
Marek proposed on Sept. 18, one day after Roloff’s birthday, at the restaurant where the couple has frequented since their first anniversary.
“I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Roloff told PEOPLE. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”
Marek added: “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.”

The actor is officially engaged to his girlfriend Santos, PEOPLE confirmed on Sept. 3.
The two were first spotted together in August 2018 while taking a walk together in N.Y.C. The couple has since kept their relationship low-key.
Santos graduated from Fordham University in 2011 and is currently a content manager for Violet Gray, a beauty company based in Los Angeles, according to her LinkedIn. Santos was also head stylist and producer at the fashion brand KITH NYC.
