Having a normal life isn’t easy for Cate Blanchett, the Oscar-nominated star of “Elizabeth.” She got married two years ago, so the best perks from working on her soon-to-be-released movie “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” were being able to shoot in romantic Rome, Naples and Venice. “I finally had a honeymoon with my husband in Italy,” Blanchett told New York’s Daily News. The Australian actress, 30, also costars in the upcoming film “An Ideal Husband,” based on the Oscar Wilde play. She plays the overly-moralistic Lady Gertrude Chiltern. “I thought it would be interesting to play a prig who unravels,” said Blanchett.
