Castmates Who Actually Hang Out in Real Life
THE HUNGER GAMES
We'll skip over the breakup between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – on account of the What's Done Is Done Rule – to delight in the fact that the supernatural squad still gets together in non-professional (and non-romantic) settings. In January, Stewart and costar/marvel-of-neck-sturdiness Taylor Lautner went to a Sam Smith concert together, along with a few non-Twilight friends. (They're very accepting.)
The cast of Shonda Rhimes's hit political drama is beyond obsessed with each other – they'll find (or create) literally any excuse to hang out, whether the setting be a pajama party, the theatre, boozy galas or backstage.a
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
Since making a TV show together is clearly not enough, Ian Somerhalder,aChris Wood andaZach Roerig go the extra mile and watch it together, too.a
GAME OF THRONES
During filming, the GoT cast is all over the place (as in, "I'main Iceland, you're shooting inaMalta"). That's why the cast goes out of their way to hang out after filming is finished. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) are particularly close – they post joint Vines and Instas on the regular, which is the most accurate indicator of a meaningful friendship.a
This meeting definitely could not have taken place in the Harry Potter universe: Fred, Ginny and Ron Weasley with Draco Malfoy drinking Coronas in a bar. (You know, Malfoy is evil and Fred is ... dead.) Nor can we envision Malfoy as besties with Neville, a.k.a. Matthew Lewis, which appears to be the case in real life.
ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
When the OITNB ladies (/besties) go on a press trip, it's basically a vacation … filled with nonstop selfies, of course.
