Celebrity Carly Fiorina on 'The Tonight Show' : Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin 'Have a Lot in Common' The former HP CEO discussed her opponents and showed her lighter side in her interview with Jimmy Fallon By Naja Rayne Published on September 22, 2015 01:20 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Douglas Gorenstein/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images One thing you can count on when a presidential candidate appears on The Tonight Show, is a cheeky jab at Donald Trump. Republican candidate Carly Fiorina is no exception. On Monday, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO stopped by the late night talk show and discussed everything from her lazy dog Snickers, to Muslim presidents and opponent Donald Trump. “The two of them have a lot in common, actually,” Fiorina said, comparing Trump and Russian President Valdimir Putin after criticizing Trump’s openness to meet with the foreign leader. However, Trump isn’t the only one who got some heat during the presidential hopeful’s interview. Fiorina also called out another Republican candidate – Ben Carson – for his comments about Muslims being elected as president, the Associated Press reports. “Well I think that’s wrong,” she told Fallon. “You know it says in our Constitution that religion cannot be a test for office. It is also true that this country was founded on the principle that we judge each individual and that anyone of any faith is welcome here.” On a lighter night, Fiorina – who is currently trailing just behind front-runner Trump in the polls – shared a song she made up about her dog Snickers who enjoys sleeping more than taking walks. “My name’s Snick and you’re going to have to carry me,” she sang to the rhythm of “Rock Around the Clock.”
