Feel like you need to get up and go?

This video might be all the push you need.

Photographer Alan Dyer recorded this beautiful time-lapse footage at the Banff, Jasper and Waterton Lakes National Parks in the Canadian Rocky Mountains during the summer of 2014.

Though the odd person or two appears in Dyer’s shots, he told Storyful that by night, these sites are “quiet and deserted, unlike by day when often hundreds of people throng these viewpoints. Recording with just a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera, Dyer called his time in the range “a magical, if at times eerie experience.”
