Old Hollywood met rock ‘n’ roll when Cameron Duddy married fashion photographer Harper Smith in Wyoming on Aug. 10.

The groom, 27, and his bride, 31, opted for a cowboy chic theme for the nuptials, which were held at the sprawling Jackson Hole ranch owned by Duddy’s step-grandmother, actress Connie Stevens.

Duddy, who recently won an MTV Video Music Award for directing Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven,” is the son of cinematographer Christopher Duddy and Renee Axotis. His father wed Stevens’ daughter, actress Joely Fisher, in 1996.

“What a magical time. Jackson Hole is a place that we have had a strong spiritual connection to, and now we have passed that love on to the next generation,” Fisher tells PEOPLE exclusively. “The epitome of a real modern family – and on [my mom]’s 75th birthday.”

The day before the wedding, the bride (who wore a strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier) posted a photo of the preparations underway at an old barn on the property along with the caption, “My dreams are coming true.”
