Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden shared their first Valentine’s Day together as a married couple – but they weren’t alone.

The couple, who wed on Jan. 5, were joined by Madden’s twin brother Joel and wife Nicole Richie for a double date at Il Ristorante Di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California on Saturday night.

“Cameron is a regular and looked bella,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She seemed excited to be celebrating her first Valentine’s Day with Benji.”

Adds the source: “She and Benji looked very happy. They had a fun, three-hour dinner with Nicole and her husband.

“They didn’t even look at the menu and instead ordered their favorites, including ravioli agnolotti with white truffle, lobster and Spigola.”

The happy couple didn’t drink any alcohol, but instead capped off the night with a strawberry dessert.

And they weren’t the only ones having a good time. Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney also celebrated V-Day at the popular establishment.

Diaz, 42, added a pop of color to her knee-length black dress with a red lip while Richie, 33, and the Madden brothers, both 35, sported all-black separates.

Though Diaz and Benji have had plenty of alone time since their wedding – namely a Wyoming honeymoon and a “kiss cam” lip lock at a Jan. 27 Lakers game – the dinner date at Giorgio Baldi was just the latest family affair for new in-laws Diaz and Richie. They were also spotted on Jan. 25 having brunch at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons with Joel and Richie’s children Harlow, 7, and Sparrow, 5.

With all this family bonding, could speculation that Diaz will follow in her husband’s footsteps and appear on an upcoming episode Richie’s reality series #CANDIDLY NICOLE be gaining steam? Only time – and, doubtless, a few more adorable double dates – will tell.
