David Foster and Selma Blair Spotted on Dinner Date (and Caitlyn Jenner Joined!)

This surprising dinner date proves Hollywood is a small world after all.

Actress Selma Blair and music producer David Foster were spotted at Los Angeles hot spot Craig’s on Tuesday evening.

“Who goes over from her table and sits down with them? Caitlyn Jenner, which means she’s now visiting with the woman who plays her ex-wife,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

That’s right: Blair, 43, stars as Kris Jenner on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and has spent quality time with the momager since landing the role.

The celebrity connections don’t end there, though. Before marrying Kris, Caitlyn, 66, was wed to Linda Thompson – who Foster, 66, then married in 1991. (The couple divorced in 1986). So Foster was the stepdad to Caitlyn’s sons Brody and Brandon Jenner, even appearing on the brothers’ short-lived reality show The Princes of Malibu in 2005.

Blair and Foster are both single: She split from boyfriend Jason Bleick, the father of her 4-year-old son Arthur, in 2012, and he and estranged wife Yolanda Hadid filed for divorce in January.

Their reps did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.
