Boy George got a very special introduction Friday night in L.A. from none other than former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner.

“Enough about me. Thank you for being here tonight. This is so much fun for me. Let’s hear it here at the Greek Theater for Boy George! Let’s get it going!”

Jenner, 65, whose appearance set social media buzzing, got exactly the kind of reaction she deserved, Boy George said soon after.

“I expected a standing ovation for her and I wasn’t disappointed,” he told the crowd, according to Entertainment Tonight. “We need to celebrate the kinds of changes that are happening.”

Also in attendance was Jenner’s friend Candis Cayne, and the pair were spotted dancing along with the rest of the theater.

Cayne, a transgender actress, was one of a handful of people invited to Jenner’s post-ESPYs dinner earlier this month, following her groundbreaking acceptance speech for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
