Calling all cave-dwelling billionaires who dabble in crime fighting: the Batmobile is for sale.

A road-ready replica of the Dark Knight’s vehicle, similar to the Tumbler used on the set of Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins starring Christian Bale, has gone on sale for a cool $1 million – mere couch change for lonely tycoons.

The custom-built Batmobile replica, which is for sale on the James Edition luxury goods website, features everything a caped crusader needs in a vehicle – including automatic transmission, 44″ super swamper tires with custom rims, five driver assist cameras, double den stereo with blue tooth, CD/DVD, iPod integration, GPS Navigation worldwide, a custom interior and lots more to appeal to gearhead fanboys and girls.

Masked vigilantes will have to bring their own weaponry, though, as the Batmobile is gun, smoke bomb and laser free.

While you can get in touch with your inner Road Warrior in the car, don’t expect to use the Batmobile for your daily commute to the office. On the site, the seller warns: “We have built this insane vehicle to be street legal, however, please understand that this is not a daily driver!”

Perhaps even more sadly, you won’t be able to impress the kids at carpool pickup time; the Batmobile only seats two.

For more information on the car – or to make a bid – head to the James Edition website.
