No details about the baby’s name or weight have been released. Howard, 25, announced she was expecting in August at the British premiere of her movie, Lady in the Water. “I can’t talk about the pregnancy too much,” Howard said at the time amid congratulations. “I’m a little superstitious.” Howard and Gabel wed in June after five years together. This is their first child. Howard got early acting experience in 1989’s Parenthood and 1995’s Apollo 13, both directed by her father, actor-filmmaker Ron Howard. Her breakout role was in The Village in 2004. Gabel has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Nip/Tuck, The Closer and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
