Brittany Murphy’s mother and husband frantically tried to resuscitate the actress while an emergency operator gave instructions, according to a 911 tape.

“My daughter’s passed out!” Sharon Murphy is heard on the Dec. 20 tape, hysterical and crying. “We’re doing mouth to mouth. Please get here quick! Please hurry!”

“Is she breathing?” the 911 operator asked.

“No! No!” Sharon replies. “She just threw up tons of water.”

The tape continues with Sharon passing along instructions to Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack in an attempt to revive the actress. Sharon at one point screams, “Brittany please come back!” She tells the operator that her daughter “was dizzy, she couldn’t walk, she had a cold,” and adds the actress wasn’t taking any medication.

Murphy, 32, died of an apparent cardiac arrest after she was found in the bathroom of her Hollywood Hills home.

Authorities have said no foul play is suspected, and toxicology results are pending to determine if drugs played a role in her death. Her mother told hospital officials that her daughter had a history of diabetes. A number of prescription drugs were reportedly found in her home.
