While the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an occasion for a lot of people to get very excited, for one British weather forecaster, it’s mostly a chance to string together a lot of comic book references.

Sian Welby spiced up her usual weather report earlier this week with a slew of puns and sly shout-outs to the DC world.

Lines included “You needed x-ray vision to see through the fog in some parts this morning” and “Temperatures will be Lois in the North and the West.”

According to her employer, Channel 5, she packed in 20 different nods in her minute-long segment – though if that density surprises you, you should know that Welby has done this sort of thing before.

She’s not the only one: Wes Blankenship, a sports anchor in Georgia, had a very similar idea in December, when he turned his sports report into a laundry list of Star Wars references, including lines like “They need to Leia few more points on him.”
