Photo Album: Inside Bridget Moynahan & Andrew Frankel's Rustic N.Y. Wedding
To accentuate her sleek dress, actress Bridget Moynahan's hair accessories designer Susan Van der Linde created small silk organza rosebuds for her hair. A single ostrich bar was tied around the base of the rosette for texture and movement.
ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS
As for her shinier accessories, Moynahan teamed up with H.Stern. "They've collaborated with Bridget for red carpet events for years," says Basia Zamorska, who worked on Moynahan's gown. The stylist and the groom actually teamed up to gift her with the rare bling. "We surprised Bridget with her favorite H.Stern earrings," Zamorska says. "There was only one pair in existence!"
An excited Moynahan rides to the ceremony, which took place at Wölffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack, New York, on Oct. 17.
HERE COMES THE BRIDE
The actress is escorted down the aisle to meet with her husband-to-be. It was an intimate ceremony, attended by the couple's family and closest friends, including Moynahan's 8-year-old son, John, with ex Tom Brady.
The couple exchanged vows in an open field on the vineyard. It was the ideal setting for the pair, who recently spent time together in the Hamptons. "Bridget and Andrew loved the idea of an intimate, fall harvest wedding," Ann David and Nicky Reinhard of David Reinhard Events tell PEOPLE.
AND THE BRIDE WORE …
J. Mendel! For her wedding day to the brokerage firm co-president, Bridget Moynahan chose to wear a mermaid-style gown. "Mr. Mendel attended fittings in-person," explains Zamorska. "All the staff toasted the finished creation with champagne."
A RUSTIC AFFAIR
"She loved the understated elegance of the location combined with the festive fall feeling," say the planners. "At dinner, they used long rustic wood tables with a runner of eucalyptus and lemon leaves and a white floral garland."
FAVORS TO REMEMBER
To complement the wedding theme, the couple chose to send their guests home with monogrammed beer bottles.
"They wanted a cool vibe and great energy," the planners tell PEOPLE. "They really wanted the night to feel more like a large family dinner party than a wedding. It was all about simplicity and ease."
THE MAIN ATTRACTION
The two-tiered cake added to the venue's rustic vibe, and held a surprise inside: varying flavors. "They made each tier a different flavor to make everyone happy," say David and Reinhard, who revealed Moynahan is a lover of vanilla, while the groom has a penchant for all things chocolate.
A KISS AT SUNSET
The newlyweds share a sweet smooch in the vineyard. "They met each other through a friend," a source tells PEOPLE, "and she has been on cloud nine ever since."
