Pitcher John Rocker, 25, was recalled to the Atlanta Braves yesterday after his third one-inning stint for the Braves’ minor-league team in Richmond, Va. Rocker reportedly was needed by Atlanta to replace Rudy Seanez, who was complaining of a tightness in his right arm. Rocker was demoted last week because he needed to work his pitching, not because of his comments in a magazine in which he disparaged minorities, gays and foreigners, said Braves management.
