A third wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against R&B singer Brandy stemming from a fatal car accident in Los Angeles last year.

Marouane Hdidou, 32, whose wife Awatef Aboudihaj died in the Dec. 30 crash, sought unspecified damages in the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Brandy, 28, was previously sued by the victim’s parents, followed by a suit on behalf of her two minor sons.

Police investigators recommended that Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, but the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has yet to file charges.

Meanwhile, NBC announced that Sharon Osbourne would be replacing Brandy as a judge for the second season of America’s Got Talent.
