Celebrity Brady Bunch to Play 'Weakest Link' By Stephen M. Silverman Published on August 3, 2001 08:50 AM Share Tweet Pin Email That epitome of ’70s niceness, “The Brady Bunch,” is about to bump heads with the current Queen of Mean, “Weakest Link” host Anne Robinson, when the NBC quiz program welcomes the reunited cast of the old sitcom to a special edition of “Link” set to air in mid-September. The network says that the occasion will mark the first gathering of the “Brady” cast in 21 years, since the cult classic 1980 TV movie, “The Brady Girls Get Married.” Actually, the “Link” episode has already been taped, reports Reuters. Those who participated include Florence Henderson (Carol Brady), Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Eve Plumb (Jan) and Susan Olsen (Cindy). (Actor Robert Reed, who played father Mike Brady, died of AIDS-related causes in 1992, at the age of 59.) Robbie Rist, who played cousin Oliver on the original show but who has not worked with the group since 1974, joined them. No word on who, if anybody, Robinson insulted. Or what cool pranks those zany guys might have pulled on her. However, it was reported that all winners donated their windfalls to charity. How very Brady.
