Forget what you’ve heard: Brad Pitt is No. 1. The street-brawling drama “Fight Club,” starring Brad and Edward Norton, took in $11 million and slugged its way past “Double Jeopardy” ($10.2 million) and the sappy “The Story of Us” ($9.7 million) to claim the title of last weekend’s top-grossing film — after initial studio estimates (reported widely, including here yesterday) put the film in third place. Box office figures, collected from the studios by Exhibitor Relations, are rarely so close that the rankings for the top three films change from Sunday to Monday.
