This might be the best wedding present ever.

Abi Lingwood was celebrating her wedding with friends and family at a reception in the Stoke Park hotel in the U.K. on Sept. 13 when her groom, Daniel, 41, gave her some surprising news.

“My husband said to me Brad Pitt was at the bar and you have to come with me, so he dragged me across the hotel,” the bride, 28, told the Maidenhead Advertiser. “I thought he was joking.”

Pitt, 49 – who’s shooting his new WWII film, Fury, at nearby Pinewood Studios – posed for a photo with the newlyweds.

“He said sure, no problem, and said congratulations and I hope you have had a great day,” Lingwood revealed. “And he said I looked nice. He was really nice.”

When the couple returned to their reception and told their friends what had happened, chaos ensued.

“The girls were going wild and mental, so Brad Pitt and the people he was with went upstairs to a room for their meeting,” she said.

Lingwood, who ran into the father of six a second time the next morning, says her wedding was “amazing” and added that meeting Pitt topped off her special day.
