With the marriage of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston dissolved, so now is their production company, Plan B.
Pitt, riding high with the success of his movie with Angelina Jolie, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, will take his portion of Plan B to Paramount Pictures, after previously being at Warner Bros., says the Hollywood Reporter.
At least four Plan B projects currently in development at Warners – including The Assassination of Jesse James, starring Pitt, and the soon-to-be-released Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp – will remain at the studio, and will continue to involve Aniston, her spokesman tells the trade paper.
It remains to be seen if she will form her own production company. Aniston is currently shooting The Breakup, with Vince Vaughn (who also happens to be in Mr. and Mrs. Smith).
Pitt’s Plan B switch to Paramount was announced Wednesday by the studio’s new CEO and chairman, Brad Grey – who used to be Pitt’s manager and an original partner in Plan B with Pitt and Aniston.
The couple announced their separation in January, and Aniston filed for divorce in March.
