A month after Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt called an end to their self-proclaimed “adventure,” fans still can’t quite believe it’s over – or stop asking questions. Here, some answers.

The two had dinner last week. Are they reconciling? Not now. Despite their evening at the L.A. restaurant L’Orangerie on Jan. 26, “nothing’s changed about their separation,” says a mutual pal. “They’re still close, and they still love each other. They’re still going to be seen together.”

Are they still living together? No. Right after the split, Aniston moved into an L.A.-area hotel where she is “hibernating,” says a close source. “She’s working on the movie (Friends with Money) every day. At night, she’s just staying inside, not doing anything.” Pitt remains in the couple’s $13.5 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Is it true that Aniston rented the Hollywood Hills house she lived in when she met Pitt to comic Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G) and wants him out so she can move back in? Yes and no. Baron Cohen was a tenant but moved out more than a year ago. She does not plan to move back.

So where will she live? She is looking for a house on the beach in Malibu near pal Courteney Cox. Coincidentally, so is Pitt.

Any truth to the rumors that he fell for Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie? Not a chance, say his friends. “He’s not the kind of guy who would cheat,” says one close source. “He is a very moral guy.”

So why can’t they work it out? That’s what Pitt’s grandmother Betty J. Russell, 82, of Shawnee, Okla., wants to know. “We are hoping they get back together,” she says of the family. “That’s our prayer. They were so perfect together.”
