The video, directed by visual artist Indrani, depicts front man Jon Bon Jovi cruising through the Jersey heartland in a vintage Chevy. Passing through what appears to be his old neighborhood is bittersweet as he views “For Sale” signs scattered across lawns. “These four walls have a story to tell, the door is off the hinges, there’s no wishing well,” he sings on the track. “Outside, the sky is coal black. The streets are on fire, the picture window’s cracked and there’s nowhere to run.” This House Is Not for Sale is produced by industry veteran John Shanks, who has overseen projects from artists as diverse as Van Halen and Miley Cyrus . Barring Burning Bridges – the band’s self-proclaimed “fan album” released last August to fulfill contractual obligations to their former label – their upcoming record will be Bon Jovi’s first complete disc without Richie Sambora. The longtime guitarist left Bon Jovi in April 2013 in the midst of their tour. “This House Is Not for Sale” is available now on iTunes.
