Jon Bon Jovi recorded a song, “Beautiful Day,” for Finding Neverland: The Album, and PEOPLE’s got an exclusive first listen. The track – an upbeat, up-tempo, seize-the-day anthem – appears on the concept album inspired by the new Broadway musical about Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie. “Everybody knows Peter Pan, and I guess in some essence you could always say that every rock and roll star is Peter Pan – they never want to grow up,” Bon Jovi, 53, tells PEOPLE of working on the song, which was written by Finding Neverland lyricist Gary Barlow. The rocker joins Top 40 stars including Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and Ellie Goulding on the collection to reimagine the musical’s tunes. Finding Neverland: The Album drops June 9.
