This video of Bob Wood playing an electric guitar at a Nashville shop is mesmerizing and so impressive

Apparently, you’re never to old and rock and roll.

Bob Wood, 80, walked into the British Audio Service guitar shop in Nashville and surprised everyone by launching into an incredible riff on an electric guitar. The video was shot more than a year ago, but the incredible clip has resurfaced in the last few weeks and become an online sensation, amassing over 2.2 million views on Facebook.

According to Wood’s daughter Melanie Wood Moody, the now 81-year-old was signed as a regular performer at Jamboree USA in Wheeling, West Virginia, in 1970, and performed there for 10 years. In 1975 and 1976 he was crowned Entertainer of the Year by Eastern States Country Music Inc. He was inducted into the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007 and has released several albums throughout his career.
