The Australian musician and his wife Miki, already parents of two girls, add a boy to their family
Anthony Field, the Blue Wiggle in the successful Australian preschool band The Wiggles, and his wife Miki welcomed their third child, Antonio Carlos, last Friday night, the musician’s publicist confirms.
Antonio, who is the couple’s first son, was born in Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Women and Babies Hospital after three hours of labor. He was one week overdue and weighed 7.7 lbs.
Anthony, 44, and Miki also have two daughters: Lucia Angela, 3, and Maria Claire, 18 months.
Last November, the Wiggles made news stateside when Greg Page, who performed as the Yellow Wiggle left the group due to a chronic health condition.
Wiggles performances combine live action and audience participation. The band has sold more than 20 million videos worldwide and play more than 200 live shows annually.
