Music to our ears! Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are set to perform their new duet together for the first time on The Voice stage Monday night, a source confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

The duo wrote the song “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” together last fall and finally revealed last month it would appear as the ninth track on Shelton’s upcoming album If I’m Honest, out May 20.

“We were at a point where it’s like, ‘Do we want to go there? What will people think?’ And then we finally just got to the point where it’s like, ‘You know what? I don’t give a s–––,” the country star told PEOPLE previously about the song.

“I love this song! This song’s important to us and the fact that we wrote it together is so important to both of us,” he added.

In mid-April, Stefani excitedly tweeted about the song, posting a photo of her boyfriend’s album.

“Look what I found lying round the house! #ispymyname #goaheadandbreakmyheart @blakeshelton #eeeekkkk! #crazy!” she wrote.

Last November, a source told PEOPLE the cute couple had co-written the song together. “It’s amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song,” said an industry insider.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
