'Big Momma' Cruises Tom

The two-week old “Mission: Impossible 2” barely maintained its grip on the top of the box office chart this weekend, what with the Martin Lawrence cross-dressing comedy “Big Momma’s House” hot on Tom’s tail. The Cruise adventure fell 50% in ticket sales — and is expected to drop even further next weekend, with the debut of “Gone in 60 Seconds” with Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie and Robert Duvall. This weekend’s estimates:

1. “Mission: Impossible 2,” $27 million.
2. “Big Momma’s House,” $25.6 million.
3. “Dinosaur,” $12 million.
4. “Shanghai Noon,” $8.6 million.
5. “Gladiator,” $8.1 million.
6. “Road Trip,” $6.7 million.
7. “Frequency,” $2.1 million.
8. “Small Time Crooks,” $1.7 million.
9. “U-571,” $1.4 million.
10. “Center Stage,” $1.1 million.
