Beyoncé and Jay Z Enjoy Date Night at U.S. Open Cheering on Pal Serena Williams
The power couple, and close friends of Serena Williams, attended the second round Women’s Singles match on Thursday
The power couple enjoyed yet another date night on Thursday, as they attended the second round Women’s Singles match where their pal Serena Williams’ succeeded in regaining her dominance against Vania King, winning two straight sets.
The parents of Blue Ivy enjoyed the tennis match and cheered on Williams from the tennis star’s box at the U.S. Open in New York. It doesn’t come as a big surprise that the couple attended Williams’ match after the tennis pro, who starred (and slayed) in Beyoncé’s visual album Lemonade, introduced Bey before her 2016 MTV VMAs performance.

The outing isn’t the first date night this week for the Lemonade artist, 34, and her hip-hop mogul husband, 45. The two were joined by Kim Kardashian-West, Alicia Keys and their husbands at Pasquale Jones in Manhattan’s Little Italy in the early hours of Monday morning. The group date (which gave us all serious squad goals) came right after Bey’s VMAs performance.
The music icons weren’t the only ones enjoyed a night of tennis at the U.S. Open either. This week has seen an array of stars including Lupita Nyong’o, Jonah Hill and Susan Sarandon who all were guests in the Emirates Suite.
