Music royalty took over the front row at the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers game on Saturday night, when Beyoncé and Jay Z were joined by Kendrick Lamar at Los Angeles Staples’ Center.

The trio, who have a total of 48 Grammy Awards between them, laughed and smiled during the NBA matchup.

Beyoncé, 34, paired a simple white shirt with a black leather jacket, oversized hat and leggings. The “Formation” singer accessorized with a pink pair of heels and mirrored shades.

Jay Z, 46, kept it casual in a gray t-shirt and black denim, while Lamar relaxed in gray sweats and a sweatshirt.

An onlooker tells PEOPLE that music’s first couple “were having a great time and looked really happy to be on a date night together. They had their arms around each other, held hands and were really cute together.”

Also in attendance was DJ Khaled, who greeted Beyoncé and Jay Z with a handshake, before joking around with Lamar in a Snapchat video. “I’m up to something,” he teased.

Just last week tickets went on sale for Beyoncé’s “Formation” World Tour, which kicks off this April.
