The TV icon was surprised by her Hot in Cleveland crew and costars with a choreographed hula dance
Betty White turned 93 on Saturday – with a little help from a flash mob!
As if you needed another reason to love the legendary actress, who just won the TV icon award at the People’s Choice Awards (and was escorted onstage by Chris Evans), White’s big birthday surprise will put an even bigger smile on your face.
The Hot in Cleveland star – who is greeted on set every day with a special hula dance from her assistant – was welcomed to work on Friday with a massive hula-dancing flash mob featuring people sporting grass skirts and Hawaiian leis.
White is seen in the video being driven onto set in a golf cart by Dave Foley, her costar in Hot in Cleveland, which is currently in its sixth and final season.
She clapped and danced along with the flash mob, receiving a lei of her very own, before being entertained with a special performance (and heartfelt hugs) from costars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.
White turned emotional as the flash mob held up a “Happy Birthday, Betty” sign before exclaiming, “At 93, you shouldn’t be doing this!”
