Bethenny Frankel has been an open book about her bitter divorce from Jason Hoppy and their custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Bryn.

But now she’s ready to muse about what might lie ahead for her, as she begins a new chapter in her life.

“Acceptance. Confidence. Sense of humor. Ability to take charge. I’m always so in charge, I’d like someone else to take charge,” she says in the December issue of Health regarding what she’s looking for in a new romantic partner.

“And it’s not that easy. I’m not that easy a person to take charge of. I don’t want anyone to take charge of my business,” Frankel, 43, says. “I want someone to take charge of my personal life.”

But the talk-show host seems skeptical that everything will fall into place smoothly.

“I don’t think you can have it all at once. It’s hard to have a career and a personal life and a love life and a sex life. If it happens, I’ll let you know!”

So instead of chasing after romance, Frankel is taking time to reflect and get to know herself.

“Recently I’m trying to find my identity again,” she says. “I’m figuring out who I am in this new life. So I’ll take my dog and go for walks along the river. I’ll walk and do something mindless. It’s good.”
