"Both Ben and Jen seem very focused about what's good with their family," a source tells PEOPLE

Having both said their piece, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are moving on – and maintaining their focus on family.

“It took months for Ben and Jen to figure out a new normal,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE.

Now, “both Ben and Jen seem very focused about what’s good with their family,” the source adds of the pair, who announced their divorce in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE in June.

Parents to Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7 and Samuel, 4, the amicable exes spend time together with their brood in L.A. Also, as the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star said in his recent New York Times interview, they’re planning a family vacation in Europe where he’s filming Justice League this spring.

And while the duo, both 43, are on good terms, “there’s no sign they’re getting back together,” the source says.

Last month, Garner opened up about their ongoing divorce in a bombshell interview with Vanity Fair. While the Miracles from Heaven actress called Affleck “the love of my life,” she also opened up about their marital struggles, telling the glossy: “I always says, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

As PEOPLE reported Tuesday, an insider said Affleck “doesn’t seem mad about” the story because “it was all fair.”

Indeed, “she’s allowed to talk about it,” Affleck told the Times. “She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it – I don’t want to do it again.'”
