Three-time Grammy winner Beck has never done things the traditional way.

For his latest album Song Reader, the singer teamed up with hip eyewear brand Warby Parker. In commemoration of the album, which is out now, Warby Parker is reissuing limited-edition Carmichael frames created in collaboration with Beck.

“No one embodies the spirit of invention and ingenuity more than Beck,” says Warby Parker co-CEO and co-founder Neil Blumenthal. “From the moment we heard about his Song Reader, we were eager to join forces on the project. We’re thrilled to band together with Beck, Randall [Poster, producer], the artists and Capitol Records to bring these notes to life.”

As for the music? The album features an impressive roster of talent helping bring Beck’s creations – which were published nearly two years ago as a sheet-music collection of the same name – to life.

On this quirky 20-song collaboration, artists ranging from Fun. (the delightful “Please Leave a Light on When You Go”) and Norah Jones to Jack White and Juanes (whose Spanish-language addition is a can’t-miss) put their own stamp on Beck’s compositions.

Though Beck is featured on only one song – the dreamy “Heaven’s Ladder” – his skillful touch is felt throughout.
